egg day

Easter at the Housley house this year was a lot of fun! It seems like the 'Easter Bunny' does things different at every house, but in our house here's how it goes: 1st the kids wake up and notice there are eggs all over the house. Then they come in and wake up Todd and I before 7am...UGG! The Easter Bunny leaves a note for the kids telling them to open all the eggs and in one, there is a 'clue'. They then collect the eggs, and proceed to open them until they find the clue. The clue leads them on a Easter Scavenger Hunt, finally leading to their Easter Baskets. Tanner & Reagan get way excited about finding & following the clues. Tanner kept wanting to find and 'read' the clues himself which was a bit frustrating for Reagan. She is very patient with him, but next year maybe they'll have to have individual hunts! They both had a really fun morning especially after they had their big Easter breakfast of cinnamon rolls, bacon, and oranges!(all their fav.'s) Yumm!

Easter Sunday Best!

Okay so I got the kids ready for Church and then spent 10 mins. trying to find my camera...while I was doing my own little scavenger hunt, Tanner decided it was a great time to make 'leaf angels' in our front yard!

I finally found my camera and after a little spit bath, and leaf brush off, we tried to get him to take an Easter picture...

I love the kid but, oh he's exhausting!

After church we went to Monte & Melissa's for Easter dinner. It was really fun for all the little cousins to hang together and celebrate little Brooklynn's first Easter, and first official family get together!
