Yes, I know, I said we'd checked overpriced amusement parks off our summer to do list but apparently we can't get enough! Actually Miss Reagy had a dance competition at Lagoon in SLC, so we made the most of it. We went with the Myler family and we stayed at the Crystal Inn for a couple of nights. (FYI: awesome breakfast buffet!) Saturday the girls danced and then we rode the rides until our heads were spinning. (well at least until it rained...which was around 4:00.) We'd had enough then and the kids wanted to swim at the hotel. We ate at the Spaghetti Factory, (tradition), and visited temple square, (another tradition!). Good Times!

Everyone seemed to enjoy the 'boat' ride. (You know the one where you rock back in forth like a giant pendulum, sending your stomach into your mouth over and over again with every swing.) They all went on it quite a few times, unfortunatley Tan the Man was too short to partake in this joy so we found him a favorite ride of his own.

He really liked the spaceship ride even after the 5th time going on it, he wanted to go more.... oh the Joy! He especially liked the guns...he really got into them! I kinda felt bad for all the other spaceships that Tanner was pretending to blow up...I think we need to lay off of the Star Wars movies!

Oh and... Reagan and her little dance class did awesome in their Competition! They ended up taking home the 'Sweepstakes' trophy. Which means they won...or got the best score out of everyone in their division. (about 25 other groups). I'm still trying to figure out how the whole scoring thing works with these competition thingys. Her final recital is Friday...tomorrow and I'm going to try and video their tap dance number...it is pretty cute...so stay tuned, more on that to come.

We really are lucky to be so close to Salt Lake City & Temple Square. There is such a great Spirit when you visit there. The kids can feel it too. We didn't tell them to stop being 'crazy' or anything, they just settled down and enjoyed the walking and looking. Very Cool.
