The 4th of July is quickly rising on my list of favorite holidays. We live in such a great country and are blessed by so many rights and freedoms. It's like a summertime Thanksgiving for me. This year as we do every year, we celebrated and were thankful for our country, ( this includes Canada!), our family & friends, our children, our faith, our home, our food, & our fun. New Traditions continue to emerge every year which make this holiday and all it's excitements something we look forward to every year.
Tanner embraced sparklers this year...we tried to tell him only to embrace the end that's not on fire! Poor kid:(
Todd entertained the Adults with his own pyrotechnics...
So last year I discovered a 'firework setting' on my camera and I got way carried away...and this too is becoming a tradition! I can't stop taking firework pictures...I love them. I think they're soooooo purty!!
At this point in this post I should post the pictures of the delicious BBQ that Todd's parents had. They had us all over, including all of the Tanners, but I was too busy at their house stuffing my face and taking a traditional patriotic nap, to pull out my camera....I do love this holiday!
Waiting for the Awesome Fireworks down by the river in Idaho Falls...along with the other 150,000 people down there!
OK so if you didn't get to see any Fireworks this 4th, or if your fireworks were lame, or if you've never seen the Fireworks in Idaho Falls you need to watch this little video. This video doesn't do it justice but, the show that they put on here is ranked as one of the best in the US...it is really amazing.
If you like what you've seen you need to come and join us in our Traditions next year!!

3 of you like what you're seeing!:
oh my goodness, I'm coming down THERE next year and celebrating with you!!! amazing fireworks!
That looks like fun. The fourth of July in Phoenix is pretty lame. It is just too hot. I can't believe you guys are wearing jackets. We are at least 30degrees beyond jacket weather. I am a bit envious
Those pictures bring back good memories and a small tear as we couldn't be at the celebrations this year. Autumn got a little carried away with the sparklers too. We have a pretty large scar to prove it! Great pics! Miss you guys
