lazy crazy days of summer!

Yes It's been a while...we've been busy!!!! Summer is like this: go through the CRAZY days so you can get to the LAZY days. Lately we've had more CRAZY then LAZY...but LAZY is a comin'...I just know it!
Here's a update: Lava Hot Springs with the Allen girls, Melalueca Party with G'ma & G'pa Tanner, Camping up in Island Park & at Darby Canyon with G'ma & G'pa Housley....all these FUN events have been had, and No pictures taken by me. SLACKER = me...Yes I know! (There might be a couple of pictures on Todd's phone.) Here's 2 events that I did manage to photograph...

BOISE
We went and spent a few days in Boise with my ol' pal Kara...(Love her!!)...and her family. FYI Boise is just 4hrs away but what a difference in temperature...phew! I'm still sweating! So we spent many an hour juggling kids at the swimming pools! We did manage some great girl bonding moments and even got to double date with our eternal companions! It was a great get away the start of another thing we have to do every summer! (It's no wonder our summers fill up so fast with all of our must do s!)

OK why I heart Kara: It's 12:30 am, "Hey Jenn I know a 24 hr place that has the best scones in the world...you up for it?" Ummm Yeah!!! ....so we had, not only 3 orders of scones, (she wasn't kidding they are DIVINE!), french fries, & Milkshakes!! Kara is a health hazard!

What does it mean when you have matching fortunes? Either it's a total rip-off, ...or your lives are enter-twined. I like to think it's the latter!

St. Anthony Days

Speaking of 'must do s, Tradition states that we must go enjoy St Anthony Pioneer days. (Todd's old stomping grounds). This is fun every year. The Parade, (Debi's float finally placed... 1st!) BBQ at Uncle Richard's with the best and most meat in town, (no joke! yummmmm...), float the river, and Rodeo that night....Good times...

Tanner used the inflatable boats as his own personal trampoline until he bounced right out onto a Rock...check out the goose egg (below)!! Ouch :(

We were lucky to find seats by our neighbors, who's little boy Logan, is Tanner's best buddy! They had a blast all night and were absolutely filthy by the end.

Has everyone but me seen this: where they tape dollar bills to a calf and let all the kids run after it??? Do you think we could keep Tanner and Logan from such a fun sport...not a chance! Do you think they had a part of them not caked in dirt afterward...not a chance!
