So Reagan decided at kinda the last minute to enter into the kids Triathlon in Rexburg. The Allen girls were all in it, Reagan was a bit hesitant until we told her she could wear her life-jacket for the swim, (most of the kids did) then she was all in. It was a 75 yard swim, a 1.5 mile bike, and a 1 mile run. It was not timed and they let them off in groups of about 8 - 10 kids so there really was no racing. They just wanted the kids to have fun and finish, and Reagan did both! She had a smile on her face the whole time and really did have a lot of fun!
Swimming was the hardest part for her. We've only ever tried to teach how to swim not how to swim any distance! She can doggie paddle in place for a long time but today she had to go the distance, and she did it surprisingly well.
Biking was the easiest part she said. She made some pretty good time on the bike too. We were surprised to see her coming back so soon.

Good Job Reagan!! Thats awesome! I'm suprised Todd wasn't in the race too. I love it! Maybe it will be the first of many triathlons!
