Tracy Dee Housley, 46, son of Larry and Kathy Housley, died in his sleep in the early morning hours of Oct. 31, 2009.
Tracy was born March 1, 1963, in Provo, Utah, to Larry Keith Housley and Kathryn Kesler Housley. He attended schools in Blackfoot and Soda Springs and attended high school in St. Anthony, where his family resided for 20 years.
They moved to Idaho Falls in 1996, where Tracy was employed at the Development Workshop. He also attended the Adventure Center. When he was younger, he took part in the Special Olympics, and especially loved to bowl.
Tracy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held the office of Elder. His family is grateful for the knowledge that he is no longer bound by those challenges that he endured in this life.
Tracy is survived by his parents; his siblings, Greg (Cathy) Housley of Idaho Falls, Todd (Jennifer) Housley of Rigby and Debi (Craig) Womack of St. Anthony; and nieces and nephews, Nathan, Cameron, Clayton and Austin Housley, Reagan and Tanner Housley and Alexys and Katie Womack.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Holli Bastian; his nephews, Blake Womack and Todd Housley Jr.; and his grandparents, Louis and Dena Housley, Ray Kesler and Helen Hemming.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Idaho Falls LDS Parkview Ward, 2051 S. Emerson, with Bishop Brad Backman officiating.
