lazy, crazy, days of summer...

As a child I remember summers to be a lazy time, fun of course, but 'doing nothing'. As an adult summers are a crazy time I'm finding. It seems like the days of 'doing nothing' are long gone...but I'm trying as hard as I can to bring them back!!
Crazy day at the Zoo.
This past week, Ty and Amber have been in town so we met up with all the cousins at the I.F. zoo. It was a HOT day but the zoo had a lot of shade. Unfortunately, due in part to the heat, the animals were sleepy. Try as hard as they could, (screaming, growling, etc.), the kids couldn't wake the sleeping lions or tigers much to their dismay. The monkeys weren't tired at all though! We had a great time with the cousins and the Allen girls joined us for the zoo, swimming at Rigby Lake, and a sleep-over. - a crazy summer day!

Lazy days in Island Park...

Last Fri. we left for a 5 day get-away to Beautiful Island Park...

Todd's parents rented a cabin there and we really enjoyed just spending time with everyone and hanging out & being lazy. We spent the time on the water with Greg's boat, riding around on Debi's 4 wheelers, and using Todd's parents trailer,... Wow we sound like moochers!! Thanks everyone for a great time!

Murphy Tanner-Housley!
We adopted or rather inherited a new member to the Housley house. Murphy came to live with us. He was at Mont & Melissa's but due to a neighbor from you know where...well we've given him refuge!!! He's a good puppy - Yes, puppy!! He's only 7 months old and a barrel of energy! He's keeping us on our toes. As if we didn't have enough craziness this summer! Ya have to wonder... are we Crazy or just Lazy? Hmmm...
