Blank for no excuse.

Photobucket
So my friend, Kara, just wrote a post about how she has so much to do that her mind just goes blank. She really does have way too much on her plate. I, on the other hand don't have anything other then the usual Christmas craziness going on and I have the same problem. Everytime I walk into a store to get something specific, I lose concentration, get distracted by anything shiney and completely forget what I came into the store for. Do I have ADD or is it just old age? Same thing in my own house, I'll have a completely booked agenda of things to do on any given day, and I get distracted by any number of useless things and will accomplish nothing that day. I've taken to writing everything down. If I don't have a list in a store....I might as well just walk right on out. If I don't have a list of chores to do in the house I'll do a thousand things and accomplish nothing all day!
Question: How many times can I realize I need toilet paper, (the bad way!!), go to a store to buy it, and come home with a bunch of things except the toilet paper?
Answer: 4 times and counting....
HELP!

I call it the Mom Brain. We all seem to suffer from it. You are not alone. ;)

Really, I think it's called parenthood. It gets the best of us. Do you think our mothers had this problem?
